Equine Anesthetist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equine Anesthetist to join our dynamic team at Via Nova Equine Services in Bree, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality care to equine patients.

 

Position Details

 

·         Role: Equine Anesthetist

·         Schedule: 4 days per week

·         Start Date: As soon as possible

·         Salary: Competitive, based on education and experience

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·         Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of equine procedures

·         Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after anesthesia

·         Collaborate closely with surgeons and veterinary staff to ensure optimal patient care

·         Contribute to the development and improvement of anesthesia protocols

 

Requirements

 

·         Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Europe

·         One of the following:

o   ECVAA Diplomate

o   Board-eligible resident (ECVAA)

o   Veterinarian with strong interest and proven experience in equine anesthesia

·         Strong teamwork and communication skills

·         Commitment to high standards of animal care and welfare
