Whether you recently completed an internship or are a veterinarian who enjoys focusing on medicine, general practice, sports medicine, reproduction, or complementary medicine such as acupuncture or chiropractic care, we welcome you to bring your talents and help us continue providing top-notch care to our clients. Depending on experience and areas of interest, the position can have an ambulatory or hospital-focused emphasis.

Idaho Equine Hospital is a full-service referral hospital serving Idaho and the Northwest (eastern Oregon, northern Nevada, and western Montana), with a team of 8 veterinarians. We offer advanced diagnostics and compassionate care for a wide range of equine patients. Our hospital is the only one in Idaho with board-certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care. Our caseload mainly focuses on western performance horses but also includes dressage, eventing, endurance, companion, and trail horses.

Located in Nampa, Idaho, our 78-stall facility spans 3 acres and features a 10,000 sq. ft. main building with surgical, treatment, and recovery areas, as well as a nuclear scintigraphy suite, pharmacy, and laboratory. It also includes isolation stalls, a lameness exam arena, and a reproduction area. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, MRI units, ultrasound, endoscopes, and dental equipment. Idaho Equine Hospital is committed to education through a strong internship program.
